Celebrating our successes so far

I hope your 2024 has gotten off to a great start. At the Ted Rogers School, we are mid-way through the winter semester and I'm very proud of all of the remarkable achievements we have had so far this academic year.

Our programs have been recognized in several prestigious research rankings: the Hospitality and Tourism Management program placed third overall in Canada in ShanghaiRanking’s Global Ranking of Academic Subjects, and the Real Estate Management program landed in the top spot in Canada once again in the REAL Rankings.
Our students have owned the podium at case competitions, including at numerous sales events and a global market study challenge, and have had unique experiential learning opportunities, such as taking a polar plunge to gain skills in leadership and team-building.

And our faculty, staff and graduates have been the recipients of many notable honours, both within our school, such as the research, teaching and service awards, and beyond, including the WXN Top 100 Women awards.

We also received generous support from donors, including a $1 million gift made by Dr. Steve and Rashmi Gupta to help the next generation of business leaders succeed and to continue strengthening our school.

I know that the second half of the semester will be filled with many more achievements and exciting initiatives. I hope you remember to take some time to rest and recharge this Reading Week to keep the momentum going and ensure a strong finish to the winter term!

Best,
Cynthia Holmes
