Ushering in a new academic year

It's my pleasure to welcome everyone back to the Ted Rogers School of Management for a new academic year. Our building is brimming with energy and vibrancy again and I’m delighted to have students, faculty and staff back in our halls for classes and activities. will be back for another year in November, featuring fireside chats, a case competition, an Indigenous marketplace and much more.

We have a lot of exciting events planned for the Fall semester, including the Winston Isaac Lecture in Healthcare Services about primary care and healthy communities and a speaker presentation by world-renowned real estate expert Benjamin Tal. In addition, the student-run Reconciliation in Business Conference will be back for another year in November, featuring fireside chats, a case competition, an Indigenous marketplace and much more.
We also have a few new research ventures to announce at our school. We recently launched the Computer-Mediated Interpersonal Communication Lab and the Operations & Supply Chain Analytics Research Centre. I look forward to seeing the innovative research that will be produced at these centres and the impact their work will have on society.

As I enter my second year here as Dean, I am excited about the possibilities ahead. I wish you all a successful semester and I hope to see you at the Homecoming Game this evening cheering on the TMU Bold and showing your school pride!

Best,
Cynthia Holmes
