Closing out a successful year

As we conclude the 2025-26 academic year, I am so proud to be leading the Ted Rogers School of Management and to see firsthand everything we have been able to accomplish.

On April 21, we announced a transformative philanthropic gift to our school that will elevate student success and faculty research. The anonymous pledge of $12.5 million is the second largest donation the Ted Rogers School has received, and I’m excited about the tremendous impact it will have in expanding student learning opportunities and supporting research.
As part of this funding, the Student Entrepreneurship & Innovation Fellowship was created to give Ted Rogers School students the opportunity to focus on building their start-up venture this summer. With the $150,000 annual investment, ten students from the Top 50 Student Entrepreneur Program will each receive a $15,000 fellowship, equivalent to a summer salary, so they can concentrate on their venture.

Thank you to the entire Ted Rogers School community for your commitment to propelling our school forward. Together, we have continued to build on our mission to create an inclusive and collaborative community dedicated to elevating business and society through impactful management research and experiential education.

As we conclude a rewarding year, I look forward to celebrating new members of our alumni family at Convocation on June 24 and 25, 2026.

I hope you have a safe and enjoyable summer!

Best,
Cynthia Holmes
